Specializing in superyacht damage repair, painting, and structural restoration for vessels up to 120 meters, he spent his foundational years (1999–2014) refining his trade as a Coatings Specialist across Europe before expanding his expertise into the Canadian marine industry in 2014.
Today, Zeyad operates as an independent Marine Surveyor and Repair Specialist, delivering technical mastery backed by formal credentials from the Chapman School of Seamanship (Stuart, Florida). His services encompass detailed damage assessments, insurance grade evaluations, and authoritative repair specifications. Founded by Zeyad Albarg a master marine craftsman with over 25 years of hands-on experience our company bridges the Old World excellence of Europe with the steadfast dedication of Canada. Zeyad's journey began in 1999 in Italy, apprenticing in the legendary maritime hubs of Viareggio and Ancona. There, he honed his craft in damage repair, full fairing, and painting on some of Europe's largest superyachts many exceeding 120 meters in length. His reputation for meticulous execution carried him across the continent, including Germany's elite yacht-building scene, where he deepened his mastery of fiberglass repair, gelcoat restoration, and bespoke custom finishes.
In 2019, Zeyad brought his passion and precision to Canada, establishing Sansoon Yacht Services in St. Catharines, Ontario. Today, we proudly serve clients across Ontario and beyond, offering specialized expertise in:
